For our 1st Christmas in Ecuador we were making bread and cookies to give as gifts to those special people that
have helped us since our arrive in Ecuador. Soledad, Jim, and
the our amazing landlord and friends the Culcay's were on the top of our list. Suddenly with no warning our landlord and sons
showed up while we were baking. They gave us a very large turkey. And we gave them loads of baked bread and goodies. The next day was Christmas eve and in the oven the turkey went. It came out golden brown. By far the best tasting and perfectly cooked turkey that any of us have ever enjoyed. It was an amazing, kind, caring gift and such a wonderful
surprise! Turkey's are expensive down here $40-$75US and we had opted not to put out the expense. Thank You, Culcay Family You Are All So Amazing.
