Hunting in the Woods for Tupperware is Our New Hobby

Is it under a log?  Hidden in a tree?  Is that panel a hidden cache?

A new hobby for our family.  Geocaching.  The GPS coordinates are online.  We joined:  Geocaching  Once you approach the hidden cache a hint is available on our Samsung S7 via the Geocaching App.  The coordinates and if needed hint helps you to discover a new hidden cache.  Some are the size of a pencil eraser "Nano" others are a huge ammo can, mailbox, or camouflage tape covered Tupperware container.

All caches have a paper log or log book.  You sign in to claim the discovery.  If big enough, there are trade "Swag" items. If you take swag, you must leave swag for the next cache hunter.  Sometimes a Geocaching TravelBug or GeoCoin are inside.  Those are used to track movement online.  You check them out of the cache and log them out online. Then you find another cache and log them in on the log and on the website.  They show their movement.  Some come from different countries.

It's not the items hidden inside that are important. It's the discovery of the hidden site. The difficulty of where and what it is.

Day Trip: Babyland General Hospital "Cabbage Patch Kids" in Cleveland, Georgia USA

As a family, we determined that today was going to be a girls day out with 2 FurPup Girls.  Dan needed to have the RV to get her cleaned up for our upcoming adventure.  He needed to wash, wax, remove the old caulking on all windows, re-caulk all the windows, check the roof, seal any cracks we may have gotten during the winter storms here in Franklin, bleached/scrubbed the awning, and so much more.

Hmmm...Before I continue this post I feel I need to address an issue about "Our Family Blog."  This blog was created to share our adventures, opinions, suggests, and advice.  It is Our Family's Scrapbook.

We received the following comment:

Jannie, we are glad you "used to enjoy" our blog.  This year has been a challenge for our family.  Returning from Ecuador and trying to get re-established here in the United States is no easy task.  We moved down to Ecuador because it was thought to be more affordable and for our family it simply was not.  We have been trying to share our small nearby adventures.  Sometimes life, struggles, and tough times kick into overdrive.  I needed to find a job to help the family out financial and I happened to fall into a job that I had dreamed about having my entire life.

Having the house we were planning on buying here in Franklin fall through 3 days before closing was devastating for all of us.  Then buying an RV to live full-time....it does sound like an adventure.  I can describe this type of living in one word "Stressful."  We set a goal for ourselves as a family that we would do our best to live crowded in our RV Bessie for one year and decide where in the world we should buy a house and settle down.  Over the last year we have researched and decided that the Pacific Northwest of the United States will be where we build our forever home.  Luckily for us we have an RV that will allow us the chance to continue to travel and have many more adventures throughout the lower United States, Canada, and Alaska.  One thing our family has learned is that the only thing that is constant is change.  As for cakes being posted on our blog...I am no longer working as a cake decorator at Walmart.  I do plan to add some of my favorites cakes from my last few months.  We are in the process of planning to travel in our RV Bessie out west and along the way we are planning to visit some fun and beautiful places.

Our girls day out drive led us to a super cute place that I hadn't visited since I was a child.  Babyland General Hospital "Cabbage Patch Kids" in Cleveland, Georgia USA.

As much as I wanted to Adopt and Name My Own Baby, I avoided the urge.  Now if my beautiful step-daughters Emma and Danielle had been there I would have spoiled them rotten.  Maybe in the future we will travel there with them.  *We still can't locate them :-(*

The only souvenir we purchased was this super cute and fun tie-dye shirt.
Candy "Mom" and I love the TV show Survivor and one of our favorite Survivor cast members of all time is Rupert "Mr. Tie-Dye."

We had a blast at Babyland General Hospital!!!
