Now the focus turn's to Candy’s 2009 Toyota Yaris. It got a new windshield on Thursday for free thanks to Florida state guidelines. Then it got an oil change and a new serpentine belt on Friday. The car will be detailed in the upcoming weeks so that it will be at it's prettiest when it comes time for it to sell.
We also bought our plane tickets, paid off the Yaris, paid some bills, and did some shopping for new clothes for the move. It has been a pretty busy few days for all of us.
While I was selling the truck Candice and Heather had to drive over 1 hour with the dogs to meet with a new vet to get the proper paperwork done. We had tried a local vet with less success. The dogs did enjoy the drive but after the combo shots there was no cheering them up for a few days.
I also contacted Visa's Fac. to get a status update on our Visa's and it was reported that everything had been finished in the states concerning the notarization and apostle. Our FBI reports that we submitted (see a few posts ago) were completed by the US State Department. So far so good, Everything is now down in Ecuador so they can do there thing. We should hear within a month that our Visa's are ready to be pickup up at the Consulate in Miami, FL.
We really do hope that's the case as the plane tickets are for March 26th 2015 and the Furbabies Health Certificate time crunch will be in play by then.
It's has been overwhelming to try to figure about how to get rid of STUFF. It's really kind of funny how Heather, Candy, and I reached the same point on the exact same day. We all expressed that nothing we possessed really mattered. If it won't sell on eBay or Craigslist it just does not matter any more. Our only desire is to finally reach our new home in Cuenca, Ecuador. Now, we do still need to find a rental that works for our family. We all can't wait to see our new country, our new city, and our new friends. All three of us are beyond excited!
