Our Carnival Liberty Mini-Honeymoon Cruise Review: Thursday, January 15, 2015 - Day 5 - Sea Day (Picture Heavy Post)

This was our Last Full Day on Board and we planned to relax and just enjoy some quiet time.  We opted to enjoy the Sea Day Brunch in the Lower Level of the Silver Olympian Dining Room.  We are assigned to the Silver Olympian Dining Room for dinner except we are up on the second level.  We were one of the first people who arrived so we managed to get a private booth for 2.  This was nice and the first time we were able to truly enjoy a quiet intimate meal alone in a public location.

After Breakfast, we headed to the Atlantic Deck 4 to check out Pixils Gallery/Studio to pick up the Christmas Ornament that we had ordered a few days prior.  Plus, we wanted to look at all the photos that were taken of us during dinners and such.  In the end, we purchased one elegant dinner photo, one professional photo, and one Custom Christmas ornament.

The only souvenir's we purchased on the trip was (1) 8" x 10" Professional Photo, (1) 5" x 7" Elegent Dinner Professional Photo, (1) Custom Christmas Ornament, (2) Beautiful Fun Bags for Emma and Danielle in Nassau, Bahama's, and (2) Glass Dolphin's to go with our Glass Bowl that we got for our Wedding.  We were married on March 17, 2014 in Cocoa Beach, FL.  We were married on the beach so we wanted to get a ocean themed something as a MiniMoon keepsake.  We did also have a slight hint of St. Patrick's Day with a shamrock on our flute glasses and one on our wedding cake.  We plan to purchase a special Irish keepsake in Ireland when we go on our Big Honeymoon.  The move to Ecuador trumped that trip, for now.

For dinner we felt like just ordering from Room Service.  Neither one of us felt like getting all dressed up for dinner and then taking over 2 hours to eat the meal.  We ordered and shared a Creamy Tuna Salad on Rye Bread with Potato chips (they were stale and we didn't eat them), Ham and Cheese on White Bread with Potato Salad, Roasted New York Strip Loin on a White Roll with Coleslaw, 2 Fresh Fruit Salads, and 4 cups of Apple Juice.  It was a much nicer and comfortable way to enjoy our last dinner on board,

After dinner, we packed our bags for the ships staff to collect.  That way we could settle down and enjoy the rest of our night without worrying about getting that task done.  In addition, we liked that we didn't have to drag our bags around in the morning when we disembarked from the ship in Port Canaveral, FL at about 8:00am.  We again talked about watching the Dive-In Movies up on the Sea Screen. They were showing "How to Train Your Dragon 2 and Maleficent.  We again, skipped since them since we had already seen both movies.

  1. Your great write up makes us feel like we were there! My wife is anxious to see the pros and cons. We have never cruised out of Florida.
    Thanks.
